SDK
The CIX P1 high-performance graphics engine provides a one-stop graphics solution for Linux PCs, supporting OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and OpenCL APIs, and is compatible with various Linux desktop environments, helping developers quickly adapt and optimize graphics applications.
The CIX P1 AI development kit supports heterogeneous hardware acceleration such as NPU, helping developers build on-device AI applications and achieve energy-efficient on-device AI inference.
A rich set of digital signal processing tools and libraries that meets multimedia framework needs; developers can use this SDK to efficiently develop signal processing algorithms and optimize system performance.
This CIX P1 Multimedia Development Toolkit leverages multimedia frameworks such as FFmpeg, GStreamer, and NNStreamer to enable hardware acceleration for video codecs and image processing. It supports V4L2, VAAPI, and CIX Media Engine interfaces, providing developers with an efficient and user-friendly multimedia development suite.
The CIX Basic Software Support Package (BSP) is built on Linux Kernel 6.6.89. It includes UEFI EDK2 firmware, device drivers, system images, and detailed documentation. The package supports hardware development platforms including the CIX P1 EVB and Radxa Orion O6, further improving the Linux software ecosystem for the CIX P1 platform.
CIX EDK2 is implemented based on the open-source TianoCore EDK2 project and follows the UEFI standard interface. It supports both Device Tree and ACPI interface for Multi OS, and the code has been open-sourced on Github.
Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A) is an open-source reference implementation of secure firmware provided by Arm for processors based on Armv7-A, Armv8-A, and Armv9-A architectures.
OP-TEE (Open Portable Trusted Execution Environment) is an open-source, portable trusted execution environment that provides a secure and isolated execution environment for Arm architecture-based devices.
CIX P1 supports TF-A and OP-TEE, offering various function such as enabling secure boot, secure access, and secure applications. The code has been open-sourced on Github.
CIX P1 currently supports Linux Kernel v6.1 and v6.6, with optional support for Device Tree or ACPI; the related code is open-sourced.
Building on open-source support, we actively promote mainline kernel enablement to provide better upstream support for developers and manufacturers.
Panthor is the open-source kernel DRM driver implementation for Arm Mali CSF GPUs; Panfrost is the open-source OpenGL ES driver for Arm Mali GPUs.
CIX P1 is the first chip to adopt the Arm Mali Avalon GPU architecture with support for the open-source Panthor and Panfrost graphics stack.
An open AI model sharing platform where developers can obtain AI models optimized for the CIX P1 platform, covering vision, speech, LLM, and multimodal scenarios.
Helps developers quickly build and deploy AI applications, reducing development cycles.
GStreamer is a popular cross-platform multimedia framework that lets you flexibly build multimedia pipelines according to scenario needs.
Based on GStreamer 1.22.1, CIX P1 implements hardware acceleration for video encoding/decoding, with AFBC and end-to-end DMA-BUF support.
The FFmpeg multimedia framework is widely used in scenarios such as audio-video playback, transcoding, and AI inference, and is used by many popular video players, browsers, and transcoding tools.
Based on FFmpeg 5.1.6, CIX P1 implements hardware acceleration for video encoding/decoding, supports DMA-BUF input or output, and hardware-accelerated post-processing such as downsampling after video decoding.
CIX P1 provides support for AOSP 14.0.0_r54 and the Linux 6.1 kernel.
Fully enables hardware acceleration for VPU, DPU, GPU, and NPU, and integrates peripheral drivers for BT/Wi-Fi, Camera, Audio, and Display.
